Blue cottage is a renovated agrotourism house of 1912 in a natural tranquil environment in Apsiou village, in the southern area of the Limassol forest. Have you ever imagined coexisting with friendly villagers in their slow rural life, tasting delicious traditional food and wine, walking along untouched nature trails, fishing, shooting, painting, cycling, playing golf, swimming, water skiing, visiting monasteries, argeological sites and Troodos mountains and yet being only 19 km away from a beach with crystal waters?

You can experience these by staying at Blue cottage. You can taste Andrea's pure honey, learn to make halloumi cheese, taste fruit and vegetables in season, try Loulla's sweets and pastries.

Nothing can egual the caracter and charm of a stone-built cottage in a peaceful environment, by the river and forest of Apsiou. It has that lived-in feeling you get from favourite items gathered through the years.

In the flourishing garden, you can pick up your own herbs and spices, apricots, apples and grapes. The built-in barbecue corner is there, waiting for you to experience your own way of cooking "souvla" and other traditional Cyprus delicacies. You can read, paint, or rest under the shadow of the boukambilia and grape vine.

"Although we mainly came to rest, we could not resist the sightseeing aspects... and the painted monasteries. It was a good mixture of culture and physical exercise. But the best part of the day was always coming back to Apsiou and Blue cottage. We immediately fell in love with it and felt at home right from the start.The cottage is the perfect blend of old and authentic with the conforts of modern life. And we already miss our breakfast in the sun looking at the mountains opposite our terrace. So it was with much regret that we packed our bags and left.With the promise to come back and enjoy even more of it. "
